FAQs

Who is behind the making of Last Rockers Punk Gear?

My name is Bonnie and Last Rockers is a one-woman brand run by me! I am a designer with an educational background in theatrical costuming and a BFA in Costume Production. I have over 20 years of sewing experience, having worked as a vintage retailer and buyer, costume stitcher, theatrical wardrobe dresser, stylist and tailor. I am also an adjunct instructor in the Fashion and Apparel Design department at the Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design (MIAD), where I currently teach a course on sewing with knit fabrics.

I love all things sewing and design as well as an array of punk music, fashion and culture , and am thrilled I get to share my appreciation with you. Everything is made to order in my studio in Milwaukee, WI.

How long do items take to make and ship?

All items are made-to-order, unless stated otherwise. Production time depends upon how many items are in the queue. Generally, 1-8 weeks is the maximum amount of time an order should take to be fulfilled.  See the "Shipping" section for more info.

I saw an item on your Instagram page but don't see it for sale. Can I purchase it anyway?

I use my Instagram page to display previously made items of clothing as well as custom orders, one-offs, samples and items still in development. Chances are, if the item is not listed here for sale, it is not available, but feel free to contact me to discuss purchasing possibilities.

I don't see items in my size - what gives?

I am currently working on expanding my selection of sizes to include plus sizes but am not yet ready to offer them for purchase unless otherwise stated in the listing. If you are interested in purchasing samples at a discounted rate, contact me to discuss further.

Do you take custom orders or make changes to your existing designs?

Although I am able to take certain kinds of custom orders, I am not able to take all custom orders at this time. Aspects I am able to customize:

* Ordering an item in a different color fabric

* Mixing and matching colors of fabric (pattern blocking)

* Changing out or adding/subtracting hardware

* Altering the length of an item

* Moderate custom sizing and patterning

Please contact me to discuss customizable options before ordering!

Is it OK to contact you about partnerships and collaborations?

I welcome artistic collaboration with other makers, designers, photographers etc. If you are interested in a collaboration, items may be offered for purchase at a discounted rate if the exchange is beneficial for both (all) parties involved. Contact me to discuss all potential collaborations. I can not borrow or rent out any of my items at this time.
